Did you know the indigeonous wild rabbits on "Coney Island in New York were where the Famous Island got its name? The Dutch settled Manhattan in 1624 and inhabited Coney Island soon afterward. The Dutch word for rabbit was "konijn" and the island had a large population of wild rabbits.

This delightful pot was made on the potter’s wheel and then handbuilt using wet clay and carving. The glazes are of my own formulas and it’s glazed inside so it can be used as a vase, for tooth brushes or other useful objects.

  This piece stands  4.5"/12cm tall.
