This was made on the potter's wheel in a few sections and assembled and carved. The colors are ceramic pigments fired into the surface. It's glazed inside so it can be used as a bud vase.
The shiny surfaces are white and yellow gold luster. 
This interesting piece stands 8"/20cm tall.
