This delightful rendition of this ancient animal was made by the process of repousee. By placing the metal (my originals are made of copper) into gooey pine pitch, I use a series of chisels to give the metal shape. The tail sections were then fabricated to create the movement.
   The tail sections are jointed so they have great movement. This piece measures 2.5" tip to tip and 1.25" side to side.
