I made this piece on the potter's wheel and then altered with wet clay and carving. These Uncle Sam pieces are an ongoing theme. I like to portray the great diversity of us US! 
This piece is glazed with my own formulas as well as ceramic pigments. He's glazed inside too so you can use it for flowers, pencils, and utensils.
