This is a new series of mixed-media facepots. The main face was made on the potters' wheel and then carved. Since the 1970's I've been making jewelry and collecting components. I've been incorportating these into my ceramic work. The round brushes are polishing wheels, the stones are vintage glass set in bronze bezels.  All of the glazes are my own formulas. This piece is glazed inside too so it can be used as a vase or utensils or just as a fantastic piece of sculpture, as are all of my FacePots. This is one of my larger pieces and stands 9"/23cm in height. It's a bit heavy and weighs about 4 lbs/1.81kg
