This piece was made with a combination of wheel work and hand-building. The real special quality is the glaze. The "lusters" are my signature glazes, complex but simple at the same time. This piece stands 7.25"/18cm in height to the tallest point on the gold ball. And this is glazed inside so it will actually hold water in the case you'd like to use it as a bud vase.
