This piece was inititally made on the potters' wheel in a pure white stoneware clay and fired super hot to cone 10 in a "salt fire" kiln. That temperature makes the clay body really hard and it's able to hold water. In addition to the unique firing, it has an antique paint brush and a genuine champagne fresh water pearl eye. This impressive piece stands 8.75"/22cm in height.
