This piece was made in sections on the potter's wheel. I then added wet clay and did some carving. It was inspired by a show of Pre-Columbian/Olmec culture art that I saw at the Detroit Art Museum recently. I added my own details and also my famous luster glaze. The glazes are a combination of a few glazes that I apply with an airbrush to achieve the layers. The blues are some of the best ever! This piece stands 8"/20cm tall.  This would be a fantastic addition to any "Ricky of Luna Parc" ceramic collection. Oh and btw, this is glazed in the interior as well so it could be used as a bud vase. Definitely one-of-a-kind.....
