These are lovely earrings that sit nicely on the earlobe.
They're made of bronze (wings) and sterling (body).
They measure 1.25"/3cm from side to side.
  I was traveling the countryside of Hungary with my friend Gildo in the late 1990's. We were biking on a farm road one day and stopped to rest. A tiny butterfly-a Purple Hairstreak landed on Gildo's lip and stayed there for several minutes, perhaps taking in some moisture. As we rode off the butterfly followed us for many more yards and landed on either of us each time we stopped. We called her Penni and I never forgot how lucky we all were to have found eachother....
